Grace grew up on a small farm in Huron County before completing her degree in Life Sciences at Queen’s University and then studying Occupational Therapy at the University of Toronto.
She is an Assistive Devices Program authorizer, and has experience working with people of all ages and abilities, helping them find ways to maximize their independence in their daily activities. She brings a broad understanding of the health care continuum and the transitions between levels of care.
Grace moved to Northern Ontario in 2008, and more recently has made Manitoulin Island her home after working with MPC for a number of years.
In her spare time, she enjoys activities that allow her to spend time outdoors and being active, such as hiking, snowshoeing, skating, curling, gardening, and playing ultimate frisbee. Grace is also sometimes found in an apron creating baked treats.
