Katlyn knew she wanted to be a Physiotherapist since her early teens. She began working towards her goal at the University of Waterloo and graduated with a degree in Kinesiology in 2012. She then obtained a Masters degree in Clinical Anatomy from Western University in 2014, and finally graduated with her Masters in Physical Therapy from Western University in 2016. She worked as a paediatric physiotherapist in the London area briefly before joining the Manitoulin Physiotherapy Centre team in 2017.
Katlyn has continued putting her anatomy knowledge to use with further training in acupuncture and obtained her certification in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University in 2017. Katlyn has also completed the Shift Concussion Management course and is looking forward to other learning opportunities that may come her way.
Katlyn grew up in Sioux Lookout, Ontario so the move to Manitoulin felt like coming home for her. She has always enjoyed outdoor activities and is grateful to be surrounded by lakes and trees once again.
