Ayden is a fellow islander that grew up most of his life in Wiikwemkoong on Manitoulin Island.
Since he was young, he grew up around the healthcare system and knew his passion was to work on the island in the health field to help give services back that he was offered growing up. Through college, he has taken a variety of courses from Pre-Health Sciences, Nursing and also an Occupational/Physiotherapy Assistant Diploma received at Algonquin College in Ottawa, Ontario. Throughout the years in schooling, Ayden has worked plenty of customer service positions and also a good variety of health care positions in different departments which has helped him get a good grasp of how to work in the industry and the ability to work with a wide range of people.
He is currently still in school for an undergrad at University of Ottawa with a drive to get into a Masters of Occupational Therapy program so he can bring these services back to the island and give back to the communities who helped him growing up.
Ayden has a wide range of hobbies as he both equally enjoys the indoors and outdoors. You can find him at home playing games, making/playing music or watching shows or hockey. On the other hand, he also enjoys being outdoors and going to music festivals/concerts, camping, swimming, playing hockey and hiking.
