Tracy brings a diverse skill set to the MPC team and is a true movement expert. Her special interests include orthopaedics, and vestibular rehabilitation and she is rostered in the authorized clinical practice areas of both pelvic floor physiotherapy and acupuncture.
Tracy obtained an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology from Lakehead University and went on to study at Queen’s University where she received her Masters degree in Physiotherapy.
Tracy’s ongoing list of additional certifications illustrates her commitment to continuing education. Notable from this list: concussion management, rehab techniques in oncology, and palliative care. She also has a special interest in women’s health. Among her notable courses in pelvic health are “Physiotherapy approaches to female and male urinary incontinence”, “Pregnancy, pelvic girdle pain, and the pelvic floor”.
Having owned and operated her own clinic in Thunder Bay Ontario, Tracy welcomes Manitoulin’s "tropical southern climate”. Her ability to pass cars on a road bike not withstanding, it is once the temperature begins to drop that she really starts to shine. As a competitive curler, Tracy can be found handing out losses province-wide all winter long.
